Liverpool currently sits in 4th place in the standings having picked up 24 points. Last Sunday, Liverpool faced off against Luton Town and they played to a 1-1 draw. They gave up a goal in the 80th  minute and they looked to be in trouble. In the 95th minute it was Luis Diaz that scored a goal and that led to them picking up a point. Andrew Robertson, Stefan Bajcetic, and Thiago Alcantara are all dealing with injuries and they won’t be able to go. Liverpool at some point will get healthy, but the injuries have really hurt their chances this season.

Brentford currently sits in 9th place in the standings having picked up 16 points. Last Saturday, Brentford faced off against West Ham United and they were able to secure the 3-2 victory. Neal Maupay scored the first goal in the 11th minute, but then the defense started to struggle and they ended up falling behind 2-1. Nathan Collins did score the third goal in the 69th minute and they ended up wining 3-2. Mark Flekken had to leave the last game early because of injury but all signs point towards him starting in this game. He’s going to need to have a big game in goal here.

I am not sold on the Brentford defense and they are going to struggle again here. Brentford is going to  give up at least  three goals here. I do expect their offense is also going to find success here. It might not be enough to win, but it’s going to be enough to keep this game close. Both offenses are going to find plenty of offensive success and this game will finish with five or six goals. Back the over.
