Liverpool and Brighton face off on Saturday in an English Premier League soccer showdown at Anfield. When these two teams faced off on March 12th, it was Liverpool that was able to secure the 2-0 victory.

Brighton comes into this game sitting in 4th place in the standings having picked up 13 points. On September 4th, Brighton scored five goals against Leicester City and that was enough to win by three goals. Alexis Mac Allister scored two goals in that game. Brighton had 54 percent of the possession and 11 shots on target. Enock Mwepu is dealing with an illness, and it’s not expected that he makes the trip in this game.

On the other side of this matchup is Liverpool, who sits in 8th place in the standings having picked up nine points. Liverpool’s last Premier League came all the way back on September 3rd against Everton. In that game, Liverpool had 61 percent of the possession and eight shots on target, but they couldn’t find the back of the net and only picked up one point. On Saturday, Liverpool faced off against Ajax in the Champions League, and they were able to secure a 2-1 victory. Andy Robertson should be back with the team soon, but it’s probably too early right now for him to come back.

This is going to be a low-scoring game. Liverpool’s defense was strong against Everton, and they are going to lockdown in this game. I also don’t trust Liverpool’s offense to find a lot of success in this game, and this game wouldn’t shock me if it ended 0-0. Back the under to cash here.
