Even though Liverpool has played pretty well this season, over their last two Premier League games they have only picked up a point. In  the last game against Brighton the defense wasn’t great giving up two goals and that led to only a draw. Mohamed Salah scored the two goals near the end of the first half. Andy Robertson is going to undergo shoulder surgery after getting hurt playing for Scotland’s National Team last week and now he’s going  to be out for a while. Not having him is a big blow for Liverpool.

On the other side of this matchup is Everton who sits in 16th place in the standings  having picked up seven points. In the last game against AFC Bournemouth, Everton scored three goals and that was enough for the blowout victory. James Garner opened up the scoring in the 8th minute and they never looked back on the way to the victory. Everton had 47 percent of the possesion and eight shots on target. Seamus Coleman and Dele Alli are both dealing with long term injuries and they aren’t going to be able to play in this game. In this game if Everton wants to win this game, they are going to need the defense to be strong.

I am not sold on this Everton defense and they are going to really struggle here. Even with all the injury issues for Liverpool, they are going to have no issue running up the score here. Liverpool is going to score three or four goals and Everton is going to really struggle to get on the board here. This is going to be a very easy victory for Liverpool.
