Manchester City and Norwich City face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at City of Manchester Stadium. In the last game between these two teams, Manchester City was able to come away with the 5-0 victory. 

Manchester City is the defending champion in the Premier League, but they didn’t get this offseason off on the right foot. In the first game of the season against Tottenham, Manchester City’s offense really struggled and didn’t score a goal. In that last game, Manchester City gave up a goal in the 55th minute and they couldn’t get any offense going as they were defeated. Manchester City had 66 percent of the possession, but could only manage four shots on goal. Manchester City allowed Tottenham to have 13 shots and three shots on target. In this game, Manchester City needs to find a way to get the offense going early in this game. With the way the offense looked in the first game, Manchester City shouldn’t take their foot off the gas. 

On the other side of this matchup is Norwich City who are going to be playing their second tough game in a row.. Norwich City’s first game of the season came against Liverpool, and Norwich City really struggled losing 3-0. Norwich City gave up a goal in the 26th minute, and it never got better as the game went on. Norwich City had 51 percent of the possession in the game. But only managed three shots on goal, but neither of those shots went in the back of the net. 

Norwich City looked bad against Liverpool, and Manchester City is going to give them the same treatment in this game. Look for Manchester City to get the goal-scoring going early and this game is going to get ugly early. Back Manchester City -2.5 to cash.
