Manchester United is welcoming Norwich City to Old Trafford in round 33 of the English Premier League. United is not doing well, they are falling behind in the Champions League race, but they are working on signing the new head coach for next season. Theoretically, Norwich still has a chance at staying in the EPL, but it’s a long shot, and a miracle would need to happen for that to become the reality.

With only 1 win in their last 7 games, United looks terrible right now, they are not scoring goals, and they are not defending well at all. United was playing against Everton in their last game, the team that is barely doing anything, and they ended up losing 1-0. Thanks to this bad streak, United is now in 7th place with 51 points, which is still fairly close to the Champions League spot, but their schedule is really tough for the rest of the season. United has scored 49 goals so far this season, and Ronaldo is their leading goalscorer with 12 goals. Fernandes has added 9 goals and 6 assists, while Pogba has 9 assists. Cavani, Varane, and Mctominay are all injured. A lot of things aren’t working in United right now, but they are still a very talented team, and they will bounce back.

Norwich is in the last place in the EPL, they have been there for a while, and it’s not surprising at all. Norwich has scored only 20 goals so far this season, while they have conceded 63 goals, which is the most in the EPL. As I’ve mentioned, Norwich can still save themselves, but they would need to win pretty much all of their games until the end of the season, and they would need other teams not to win theirs, which is not happening. Of the 20 goals Norwich has scored, Pukki has 9 to his name. there are a few injuries in Norwich, but even if there weren’t, I don’t think it would help them much. I think it’s better for Norwich to get relegated to a league where they will compete for something, and to the league which they will likely win next season, and soon they will back to the EPL.

We have two very struggling teams here, but the quality is clearly on United’s side in this matchup. Norwich hasn’t won any of their last 5 games against United, and it’s hard to expect they will do it here. Despite everything telling me not to do it, I will take United in this one.
