PSG and Bayern Munich face off on Tuesday in Leg 1 of the Group of 16 in the UEFA Champions League at Parc des Princes.

PSG vs Bayern Munich Odds

Bayern Munich sits as the slight favorite sitting at +155 while Paris St-Germain is the underdog sitting at +160. The total goals here sit at 3.5 with the over paying out at +135 if it hits.

PSG Betting Prediction

PSG finished in second place in Group H picking up 14 points. PSG has really struggled heading into this game losing two games in a row. Two games ago against Marseille, they were defeated 2-1 and in the last game against Monaco, they were defeated 3-1. Warren Zaire-Emery scored in the 39th minute, but it wasn’t enough as they were defeated. They gave up a goal in the 4th minute and it all seemed to go downhill from there. PSG had 59 percent of the possession but they were outshot 9-2. Lionel Messi didn’t play in the last game but that was just to make sure he was fully healthy for this game. Kylian Mbappe is also back in training, but he is still a doubt for this game.

Bayern Munich Betting Prediction

On the other side of this matchup is Bayern Munich who finished in first place in Group C picking up 18 points. Bayern Munich has played well heading into this game winning three games in a row. In the last game against VFL Bochum, the offense scored three goals on the way to victory. Thomas Muller opened up the scoring in the 41st minute. Yann Sommer is with the team and he is going to get the start in this game. If Bayern Munich is going to find success in this game, he’s going to need to be good here. Ryan Gravenberch, Noussair Mazraoui, Lucas Hernandez and Sadio Mane are all dealing with injury issues and won’t be able to go in this game. Make sure to check out the preview for the other game on Tuesday between AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur

Shane’s Free Pick

There is so much offensive firepower by each team, and there is going to be no shortage of scoring by either team in this game. I don’t trust Yann Sommer in the net for Bayern Munich and he’s going to be like a leaky faucet back there. Look for both teams to score two or three goals and this is going to be an easy over. Back the over 3.5 goals to cash.

Shane Mickle's Free Pick:Over 3.5 Goals
