Liverpool comes into this game sitting in second place in the standings having picked up six points. Over the weekend, Liverpool faced off against Arsenal, and that was a 3-2 defeat. It was a back-and-forth game, but it was a penalty kick given up in the 76th minute that was the difference as they were defeated. Liverpool had 56 percent of the possession, but they only managed three shots on goal. Luis Diaz is dealing with a knee injury now, and he won’t be able to go in this game. It wouldn’t be shocking if Liverpool decided to make some changes to the lineup here. 

On the other side of this matchup is the Rangers, who sit in 4th place, having picked up zero points. Over the weekend, the Rangers faced off against St. Mirren, and they were able to secure a 4-0 victory. Antonio Colak opened up the scoring in the 4th minute, and he added another goal in the 73rd minute. Rangers had 71 percent of the possession and eight shots on target. Antonio Colak is expected to stay in the starting lineup in this game, and they are going to need him to have a big game here. James Sands is also expected to start in this game, and he needs to sure up the defense. 

This is an important game for the Rangers, but they just don’t have the talent to get the job done in this game.
