Roma is out of Europe, and the only competitions left for them to play are Coppa Italia and Serie A, but they are facing Inter in Coppa Italia which means that could be the end of the journey for them. In Serie A, Abraham is the leading goalscorer for Roma with 10 goals, while Pellegrini has added 6 goals and 6 assists. Spinazzola is the only injured player for Roma right now. Roma is a good team, and I think they are slightly underperforming defensively, but I think they will get better soon.

Genoa is now in 19^th place in the standings with only 13 points, and the situation is getting worse and worse for them. Genoa is now 5 points away from the safe zone, and with the way they are playing, it will be really, really hard for them to get to safety. Offensively, Genoa has scored only 20 goals so far this season, while conceding 45 goals in 23 games, which is an average of almost 2 conceded goals per game. As I’ve mentioned, Genoa hasn’t won any of their last 7 games, but they did get a few draws in those 7 games. Mattia Destro has been the best player for Genoa so far with 8 goals, while Criscito has added 5 goals, but unfortunately, he is injured. Cambiaso is suspended because of the yellow cards, while Rovella is also injured. Genoa is in a lot of trouble, and even though I think they have enough quality to get out of the relegation zone, doesn’t mean they will.

Roma is the better team here, they are in better form, and the trends are on their side. I like Roma in this spot, and if they don’t beat this weak Genoa, they are in trouble. I will take Roma and goals.
