Sheffield United has played three games so far this season and failed to pick up a point. Sheffield United started the season with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace. In the second game against Nottingham Forest, they scored a goal, but the defense gave up two. Last Sunday against Manchester City, Jayden Bogle scored in the 85th minute and it looked like they could pick up a point. In the 88th minute though the defense collapsed and they ended up losing 2-1. In a midweek game in the EFL Cup against Lincoln City they were defeated in a shootout. Ben Osborn is dealing with a groin injury and he’s going to be out for a while. Luke thomas has arrived to the squad from Leicester City and he could play a role in this game.

On the other side of this matchup is Everton who has also played three games so far this season and failed to pick up a single point. In the three games, Everton has given up six goals and failed to find the back of the net. In two games they gave up only a goal and in the other game they gave up four goals. Last Saturday against the Wolves, Everton outshot their opponent 7-2, but they couldn’t score. Everton did play a midweek game in the EFL Cup against Doncaster and they were able to secure the 2-1 victory. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is dealing with a cheekbone fracture and he’s going to be out for a while.

Everton is going to have some major issues getting any typo of offense going here. Sheffield United is also going to struggle to get going here, and this game is going to be lower scoring. I don’t think there is more than one goal scored, and the under 2.5 goals will cash.
