South Africa currently sits tied for third place in the group having picked up one point. South Africa haven’t looked awful in the World Cup, but they have only picked up one point. In the first game of the World Cup they lost to Sweden 2-1 and in the last game they played to a 2-2 draw against Argentina. South Africa scored the first two goals and they looked like they were going to pick up three points. The defense however collapsed late, and that led to the draw. Refiloe Jane was hurt in the first game against Argentina and it doesn’t look like she’s going to be able to go in this game. 

Italy Betting Preview

Italy comes into this game sitting in second place in the group having picked up three points. In the first game of the World Cup Italy was able to secure the 1-0 victory over Argentina. In the last game against Sweden though the defense was awful and they ended up losing 5-0. They had 54 percent of the possession but only two shots on target. Italy might not make any changes to the lineup even though they struggled in the last game. If they do make the change though, it’s going to be Giada Greggi that could move into the game.

The South African defense is awful and they are going to really struggle to defend again here. Italy is going to score at least two goals here and that is going to be enough for Italy to secure the victory.
