Many thought after Spain was beaten 4-0 by Japan in the Group Stage, that their life would be short lived in the group stage, but all they have done is impress, and now they are only two wins away from lifting the ultimate trophy. In the Round of 16, they beat Switzerland 5-1 and in the last game they beat the Netherlands 2-1. Against the Netherlands, Spain scored in the 81st minute but they then gave up a goal in the 91st minute. They scored in the 111st minute and that was enough to secure the victory. Spain had 62 percent of the possession and eight shots on target. Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmati, and Irene Paredes have all been keys during this tournament and they are all going to need to have big games here. 

Sweden Betting Preview

Sweden had quite a tough road to get here, but they have continued to impress, especially during the knockout rounds. In the Round of 16 against the United States, they were able to win by penalty kicks. In the last game in the quarterfinal, Sweden faced off against Japan and they were able to secure a 2-1 victory. Sweden had 49 percent of the possession and six shots on target. Sweden has a goal difference of +9 so far in the tournament, and they are going to need the defense to be good here. If the defense finds success here, Sweden is going to have a great shot to secure the victory.

I don’t see Spain finding a whole lot of success here with their offense because of Sweden’s defense, I also am not really sold on this Sweden offense, and that is going to be the difference here. This game could end up being a 0-0 draw, but I don’t see more than one goal benign scored. Back the under 2.5 goals to cash here.
