Spezia is welcoming Juventus to Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi in round 5 of the Italian Serie A. Spezia has been decent so far for a team of their quality, but I think they are still in big danger of getting relegated this season. Juventus is having one disappointment after another, and they have now won only 1 game so far this season, and that was in the Champions League.
Spezia has started their season with a draw and 2 losses, but they have finally won a game in Serie A last weekend. Spezia has had a good game, and they have had 55% of ball possession, 3 shots on goal, 10 corner kicks, 4 shots inside the box, and 77% of the correct passes. After scoring in the 12th minute, Spezia has conceded in the 59th minute, and the draw was at sight. Luckily for Spezia, they have scored a goal in the 94th minute, and they ended up winning this match 1-2. As I’ve mentioned, Spezia has done well so far in the attacking end, and Bastoni is their leading goalscorer with 2 goals. Sena, Agudelo, and Reca are all injured for Spezia, while Colley is still questionable. Spezia is one of my favorites to get relegated, and even though they were decent at the start of the season, I still think they will be in the relegation zone.
It doesn’t happen often, but Juventus is now in the relegation zone, in 18th place with only 2 points, 4 scored goals, and 6 conceded goals. Juventus is still without a win in Serie A so far this season, but they were able to win their Champions League game last week. As far as their last Serie A game goes, Juventus was hosting Milan, and they have had 44% of ball possession, 4 shots on goal, 4 corner kicks, 2 big chances created, and 83% of the correct passes. Juventus got ahead in the 4th minute, and everything looked well for them at that point, but Milan shifted gears in the second half, and they tied the score. Luckily for Juventus, Milan wasn’t focused enough on the attacking end, and this game has ended in a 1-1 draw. another thing that doesn’t happen often, and that is Morata being the leading goalscorer. Morata has 2 goals to his name so far. Dybala added 2 assists. Arthur and Jorge are both still injured for Juventus. I think there is light in sight for Juventus, and whether it will be here or in a few days, I think better days are coming for Juventus.
Spezia has never beaten Juventus at home, and honestly, I don’t think they will do it now as well. The price on Juventus is not great, but at some point, things will start going their way. Juventus must improve their form because they have a busy schedule, and I think they will get a win here.
