Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United face off on Sunday in an English Premier League showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham sits in 3rd place in the standings having picked up 23 points. Tottenham is having a good season, but they are coming off a loss in their last game. Tottenham failed to score against Manchester United, and the defense gave up two goals. Tottenham had 48 percent of the possession and only two shots on target. Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski are both dealing with injuries and won’t be able to go in this game. Lucas Moura might play, but he is on a minute limit and that might mean that he is forced to come off the bench for this game.

On the other side of this matchup is Newcastle United, who sits in 6th place in the standings having picked up 18 points. Newcastle’s last game came against Everton, and they were able to secure a 1-0 victory. Miguel Almiron scored in the 30th minute and that was enough for the victory. Newcastle had 49 percent of the possession and four shots on goal. Joelinton was injured in the last game, and it doesn’t look like he’s going to be able to go in this game either. Emil Krafth is also still dealing with a knee injury and won’t be with the team for this game.

Joelinton’s injury for Newcastle is a big one, and it’s going to really hurt them in this game. Newcastle are going to really struggle to score in this game, and that is going to be the difference as Tottenham gets the job done. This should be a pretty comfortable win for Tottenham. Back Tottenham -1.5.

Shane Mickle's Free Pick: Tottenahm -1.5
