Tottenham is hosting Burnley at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in round 37 of the English Premier League. After beating Arsenal, Tottenham has gotten one step close to the Champions League, but they need to keep winning to get there. Burnley is fighting for their lives in the EPL, but their schedule is their biggest enemy right now, and I’m not sure they can do it.

Tottenham is now undefeated in their last 4 games and their latest win against Arsenal who are their main competition for that last Champions League spot. Tottenham is still behind them, yes, but only by a point, and Tottenham does have an easier schedule for the last two games of the season. overall, Tottenham has been decent this season, at least after Conte arrived, and they will be even better next season. Of the 63 goals Tottenham has scored so far, Son has 21 goals to his name, while Kane has added 15 goals and 9 assists. There are some injured players in Tottenham, but these players have been injured for a while now. I like Tottenham, I like the way they are playing, and I think Kane will stay there because of Conte, which was Tottenham’s biggest concern.

Burnley has had an amazing streak for a while there, and that streak has gotten them out of the relegation zone, where they still are. Burnley is now in 17th place with 34 points, but that is the same number as Leeds has in the relegation zone, and the battle will be rough. Defensively, Burnley has been the best of all the teams at the bottom of the table, but their offense has been pretty much non-existent. Burnley has scored only 32 goals so far this season. the injury list is really long for Burnley, and that will make their job that much more difficult here. Cornet is the leading goalscorer for Burnley with only 8 scored goals so far. Burnley has 3 games left to play, here against Tottenham, on the road against Aston Villa, and against Newcastle at home. They might get a couple of points from these games, but I think that’s about it. It’s not easy to stay in the league when your offense is not producing, and the relegation is the consequence.

When playing at home, Tottenham hasn’t lost to Burnley in their last 9 games. Burnley has won only 2 games on the road this season, and it will stay that way. Tottenham is fighting for the Champions League, and they need a win here, which they will get.
