Udinese is welcoming Napoli to Dacia Arena in round 4 of the Italian Serie A. Udinese is in excellent form, and they are now undefeated in their last 6 games. Napoli is also in great form, they have all 3 wins in Serie A, while they tied against Leicester in the Europa League.
Udinese has had one of the best starts to Serie A in a while, and they are still undefeated after the first 3 games. With 7 points, 6 scored goals, and only 2 conceded goals, Udinese is now in 6th place. Deulofeu has 2 goals to his name so far, and he is expected to be in the starting lineup in this game as well. Nestorovski and Udogie are both injured, and they will most likely miss this game. Udinese was playing against Spezia on the road in their latest game, and they have had 44% of ball possession, 4 shots on goal, 5 corner kicks, and 84% of the correct passes. It was a pretty even game, neither team has had a clear advantage, but Udinese has scored a goal in the 89th minute, and they have won this game 0-1. As I’ve mentioned, it’s been an excellent start to the season for Udinese, and I hope they can keep it up for a while.
Napoli is one of the best teams in Italy, and they are definitely playing one of the best soccer so far. Napoli was traveling to England in the Europa League earlier this wee to face Leicester, and it was a fantastic match. Napoli was slightly more dominant with 54% of ball possession, 7 shots on goal, 8 corner kicks, 3 big chances created, and 86% of the correct passes. Leicester got ahead early, in the 9th minute, and they have scored one more goal in the 64th minute. Napoli cut the lead in half just 5 minutes later, and they have tied the score in the 87th minute. We haven’t seen more goals, and this game has ended in a 2-2 draw. as far as Serie A goes, Napoli has 3 wins in 3 games, they have scored 6 goals while conceding only 2, and they are now in 4th place. Napoli has 6 different goalscorers in Serie A so far, and that just shows their offensive variety. Demme, Lobotka, and Meret are all injured. With a win here, Napoli will take over the top, and they better keep it going because the competition is very strong in Serie A this season.
Udinese hasn’t won any of their last 3 games against Napoli, but they haven’t lost any of their last 4 games overall. Napoli hasn’t lost any of their last 8 games on the road. Napoli is the better team here, but Udinese is playing really well, and I think they could surprise us here. I see goals on both sides.
