West Ham is hosting Aston Villa at London Stadium in round 29 of the English Premier League. West Ham was pretty solid for most of the season, but not being used to playing in Europe has gotten to them as of late. Aston Villa is improving their game with every game, and they are now on a 3-game winning streak with 3 clean sheets in a row.

West Ham is on a big 4-game losing streak, they haven’t scored a goal in their last 2 games, but the good news is they have lost those 2 games by only 1-0. This is West Ham’s first home game in a couple of weeks, and I’m sure it will mean a lot for them to back home in from of their fans. With 45 points, West Ham is now in 6th place in the EPL standings, but the top 4 is still pretty close to them, and they still have a chance to get there. In the Europa League, West Ham was playing against Sevilla earlier this week, and they have lost 1-0, but they still have a good chance to advance. Bowen and Antonio are still leading goalscorer for West Ham with 8 goals each, while Bowen has also added 8 assists. Ogbonna and Coufal are both injured. West Ham is a solid team, they can beat anyone on a good day, but they need to get back on the winning track now.

Aston Villa is on a massive 3-game winning streak right now, and because of that, they have gotten to 9th place in the EPL with 36 points. Europe is still pretty far for Aston Villa, but with a bit of luck and some good results, Aston Villa might find themselves in the Conference League next season. Ollie Watkins has scored the most goals in Aston Villa, 7, while Ramsey and Ings have added 5 goals each. Ings has also added 5 assists. In their last game against Leeds, Aston Villa has had another outstanding game, and they deservedly won it 0-3. Nakamba is the only injured player for Aston Villa. There is still a lot of room to improve in Aston Villa, but they have a great coach, they were smart with their investments, and they will invest even more money in the summer. I think Aston Villa has a bright future, I think they are going in the right direction, and I would love to see them in Europe next season.

This is the matchup between two teams who are on opposite ends of form. Both teams are solid, and despite West Ham being in bad form, I think they might start turning it around here. I see goals in this one, and the odds on that are great right now.
