Acapulco Open: Stefanos Tsitsipas vs. Lorenzo Musetti 3/20/21 Tennis Prediction

Top seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece will face unseeded Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the Semi-Final of the 2021 Acapulco Open in Mexico. The match is scheduled to be played on Saturday March 20th, 2021 at approximately 12:00am EST.
This is sure to be a very exciting match between world number 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas and the young “giant-killer” Lorenzo Musetti. On paper it seems like a mismatch, but the young Italian has continued to shock the tennis world with his stunning upsets. Can he do it yet again? Or will the heavily favored Tsitsipas get the win and advance to his first ATP Final of the year? Regardless of the outcome this is sure to be a very exciting match between two nright young talents. Who will reach the Final of the 2021 Acapulco Open?
Stefanos Tsitsipas has been in great form so far at the 2021 Acapulco Open. He breezed past Benoit Paire and John Isner in straight sets, before overcoming Felix Auger-Aliassime in three sets in the Quarter-Finals. Even though it was a tight match, he took his game to another gear in the third set, dispaying exactly what type of tennis he is capable of under pressure. He will have taken great confidence from that win, and will be expecting to reach the Final here as the heavy favorite.
Lorenzo Musetti has also been in fantastic form here in Acapulco. Currently ranked #114 in the world, he has shockingly advanced to his first ATP Semi-Final. He has reached this stage with three huge upsets over Diego Schwartzman, Frances Tiafoe and Grigor Dimitrov, displaying maturity beyond his 19 years of age. He has a huge game, and will be hugely confident here in the Semi Finals. Musetti knows that he is the underdog here, but he has been in this position three consecutive times here and passed the test each time.
While Musetti is in great form and clearly capable of causing an upset, it is unlikely that he extends his stay here at the 2021 Acapulco Open. Stefanos Tsitsipas has matured greatly as a player in recent times and will not take his opponent for granted. His huge serve and powerful baseline game are sure to cause the young Italian lots of issues. I expect Musetti to keep it close, but expect Stefanos Tsitsipas to win here in two close sets.
