He should still be considered a slight favorite here against Ilya Ivashka, but will be in for a tough match here.

On this surface, I am going with reliability over upside, and taking Albert Ramos-Vinolas to get the win. The home crowd will help his cause as well, but it really will be his solid groundstrokes that will grind him to victory here. It will be a close one, but back the Spaniard here at the 2023 Madrid Masters.
