Aliaksandra Sasnovich Betting Preview

Aliaksandra Sasnovich is coming off a semifinal appearance in Hertogenbosch, easily her best stretch since Cleveland last year. Sasnovich has had issues stringing wins together all year, and racking up 3 wins in a tournament could be a turning point. Even in her losing effort to Ekaterina Alexandrova, Sasnovich forced a second set tiebreak and got 72 percent of her first serves in play, so she’s performed well in 4 straight matches. This match will be telling. Sasnovich has won 6 of her last 10 matches on grass court.

You can make a case for either side here. Azarenka is the better player when in good form, but she’s been messy lately, and I’m not thrilled to back her in the favorite role. Sasnovich is probably in the better form over the last couple of weeks and that’s good enough for me with the plus money.
