Coco Gauff is coming off a quarterfinal appearance in the French Open, which should give her a great deal of confidence. It’s been an up and down year for Gauff and that performance was probably her best since January with her runs in New Zealand and Australia. Gauff has won 8 of her last 12 matches overall, and she hasn’t lost an opening match since the Billie Jean King Cup back in November. Gauff has won 7 of her last 10 matches on grass court.

Siniakova is in a serious funk, and playing a top-10 player isn’t what the doctor ordered to get out of it. The H2H numbers also don’t favor the 27-year-old. This should honestly be a routine match for the American with the way Siniakova is piling up the unforced errors.
