Wimbledon: Belinda Bencic vs. Kaja Juvan 6/29/21 Tennis Prediction

Will we see the return of the Belinda Bencic we all know and love as she aims to find her best form again and breakthrough, or will Kaja Juvan cause the early upset and be able to gain some momentum entering the later stages of the tournament?

Kaja Juvan is not really good on grass this year, putting on some poor performances. Kaja knows she can play better than that, but with a placement in the tough side of the draw here at Wimbledon as well as a very tough opening match against Belinda Bencic, she will need to ensure she is ready to fight for every single ball and be at her best in terms of physical game and mental game if she is to get anything going. Even with that, I am not sure I believe she can get much done here.

Belinda Bencic is finding some form on grass and I am so excited to see what she brings to the court both here at Wimbledon but also further down the line this season. Belinda is a very tough opponent when she is at her best, and unfortunately she had many injuries at a young age which have prevented her from fulfilling her potential so far. Belinda will know she is in the tough side of the draw, so she will not want to waste too much energy in the early rounds and ensure she can have more time to prepare for her more important opponents.

This is going to be the 1^st meeting between both players, and I see this being a straightforward win for Belinda Bencic here. Belinda has shown great tennis on grass recently whilst Kaja has been so sub par compared to what we know she can play like. Kaja will have to be at her absolute best and more if she wants to stand a chance against an in form Belinda, and currently she is not there, meaning Belinda will cruise through his first round match in London.
