The Sacramento Kings travel to the Crypto.com Arena to battle the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.

The Sacramento Kings have been in decent form as they are now aiming for a fourth straight victory after routing the Cavaliers in a 132-120 home win on Monday. D’Aaron Fox led the team with 28 points and six assists on 11 of 20 shooting, Keegan Murray added 25 points on nine of 13 shooting while Domantas Sabonis tallied 23 points with nine rebounds and 10 assists. As a team, the Kings shot 59 percent from the field and a sizzling 20 of 42 from the 3-point line as they came out ready to play and poured in 68 points in the first half, before they exploded for 42 points in the third quarter to take a 21-point lead and put the game to bed early.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers are starting to heat up now as they are gunning for a fourth straight victory after blowing past the slumping Grizzlies in a 134-107 home win last night. D’Angelo Russell led the team with 24 points and five assists on eight of 12 shooting, Rui Hachimura added 23 points on eight of 10 shooting off the bench while Anthony Davis tallied 19 points with 11 rebounds, five assists and six blocks. As a team, the Lakers shot 58 percent from the field and a sizzling 22 of 35 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Grizzlies from the start, exploding for 74 points in a dominant first half before they cruised in the second half. The Lakers were sloppy with the ball as they finished with 18 turnovers, but they played great defense to hold the Grizzlies to just 36 percent shooting.

The Kings are still missing Trey Lyles, while the Lakers are still missing Gabe Vincent. The Kings are coming into this contest with plenty of momentum and they look so much more dangerous with Fox back in the lineup, but the Lakers are also playing some good basketball at the moment and they took care of business last night to be able to rest all their starters early. I expect this game to be as close as the line suggests, but with Fox back on the court, I think the Kings can get over the line as the slight road underdog against a Lakers team playing on zero days’ rest.
