Dedan Thomas Jr. has 11.7 PPG with 3.4 RPG and a team-high 6.1 APG to lead the Rebels in the assist department this season. As a team, UNLV is averaging 73 PPG on 47.3% shooting from the field, 33.8% from behind the arc and 69.6% from the foul line this season. UNLV is at the bottom of the Mountain West and is the only team below .500. Colorado State, New Mexico, and Utah State are at the top with 9-1 records.

I’m sticking with Creighton here. UNLV has a lineup with a bunch of talented pieces, but the problem here is that the Bluejays struggle to defend the 3, which is where Creighton has lived and made their money this season. When the 3s are falling and Creighton starts rolling downhill, watch out. I know that UNLV has a semi-home court edge here with this game being in Henderson, Nevada, but I can’t help but feel like this is a mismatch. Give me Creighton.
