The Atlanta Dream have had issues this season sitting with a 6-12 record overall which puts them in fifth place in the standings. Coming into this game the Atlanta Dream have lost three games in a row, and the last two games haven’t been all that close. In the last game against the Connecticut Sun the defense gave up 84 points, and that led to a 12 point victory. The defense has been a big issue this season and will need to be a lot better in this game. Tiffany Hayes has been the best player for Atlanta, averaging 17.6 points while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 44.9 percent from behind the three-point line.
On the other side of this matchup is the Indiana Fever who sit with a 3-16 record overall which puts them in last place in the WNBA standings. Even with the struggles for the Indiana Fever, they are coming off a win in their last game. The offense was elite in the last game scoring 82 points and that was the difference as they came away with the victory. The Fever were able to come away with a victory in the last game, but they aren’t going to find a whole lot of success in this game. Look for Indiana’s offense to struggle to score in this game and that will be the difference as the Atlanta Dream come away with the victory.
