The Dallas Wings and Atlanta Dream face off on Sunday in a WNBA basketball showdown at the College Park Center.. These two teams just faced off on Saturday and it was the Dallas Wings that came away with the 72-68 victory.

The Wings were trailing coming into the 4th quarter but they outscored the Dream 25-18 to come away with the victory.

The Atlanta Dream come into this game with a 6-20 record overall which puts them in last place in the WNBA standings. The Atlanta Dream have lost 11 games in a row and it seems even when they have a chance late they find a way to blow it. The Dream’s offense hasn’t been great, but the defense has been the real issue for this team. The Dream on the season is averaging 80.1 points per game while their defense is giving up 86.2 points per game. Courtney Williams has been the best player for Atlanta averaging 16.3 points while shooting 41 percent from the field. One big issue for Atlanta has been injuries and it hasn’t seemed a point this season where they are fully healthy.

On the other side of this matchup is the Dallas Wings who sit with a 12-15 record overall which puts them in 5th place in the Western Conference. Coming into this game Dallas has won two of their last three games, but each of those games were close. Dallas is currently averaging 82.9 points per game while their defense is giving up 82.1 points per game. Arike Ogunbowale has been the best player for Dallas averaging 19 points while shooting 39 percent from the field. Five different players are averaging at least 10 points per game.

I expect Atlanta’s offense is going to struggle again in this game, and that is going to lead to this game being lower scoring. The Wings will also play a slower pace and the under will cash in this one.
