The Atlanta Dream and Seattle Storm face off on Sunday in a WNBA showdown at The Gateway Center @ College Park. When these two faced off on June 7th it was Storm that secured the 72-60 victory.

The Dream come into this game with a 9-11 record, but they are coming off a victory against the New York Liberty. It took overtime to get the job done, but Atlanta was able to secure the 92-81 victory. Two games ago against the Washington Mystics, the defense really struggled, giving up 92 points and that led to the defeat. The Dream are averaging 77.7 points, while their defense is giving up 79.4 points per game. Tiffany Hayes has been the top player for the Dream, averaging 21 points while shooting 55.3 percent from the field.

On the other side of this Storm who sit with a 13-7 record overall and in their last game against the Indiana Fever, they were dominant. The defense gave up only 57 points, and that led to the blowout defeat. The Storm are averaging 78.9 points, while their defense is giving up 76 points per game. The offense is ranked 9th overall, but the defense is ranked 1st, and if they want to win the title it’s going to need to be the defense that is good. Brenna Stewart is having a big season, averaging 21.4 points while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 36.7 percent from behind the three-point line.

On June 7th the Storm gave up only 60 points to the Dream, and they are going to lockdown with their defense again here. Look for the Dream to struggle to get over 60 points, and that is going to be enough for Seattle to cruise to the victory here. Back Seattle against the spread.
