The Atlanta Dream and Chicago Sky face off on Tuesday in a WNBA showdown at Wintrust Arena. When these two teams faced off on June 17th it was the Sky that were able to secure the 106-100 victory in overtime.

The Dream come into this game with a 10-12 record overall, and in the last game against the Washington Mystics they really struggled. The offense only scored 66 points and the defense gave up 85 points and, which led to the 19-point defeat. The Dream are averaging 77.7 points, while their defense is giving up 79.5 points per game. Rhyne Howard has been the top player for the Dream, averaging 15.1 points while shooting 37.7 percent from the field and 33.8 percent from behind the three-point line.

On the other side of this matchup is the Chicago Sky, who sit with a 16-6 record overall, and they are coming off a win in their last game. In the last game against the Indiana Fever, the Sky’s offense was strong, scoring 93 points and that led to the nine-point victory. Two games ago against the Minnesota Lynx, the Sky were competitive, but they couldn’t make the winning plays late and were defeated by three points. The Sky are averaging 85.9 points, while their defense is giving up 80.1 points per game. The Sky’s offense is ranked second in the league, while their defense is ranked fifth. Kahleah Cooper is averaging 13.8 points while shooting 44.4 percent from the field.

The Sky are averaging 85.9 points per game, and they are going to run up the score in this game. I don’t trust the Dream’s offense as much as I trust the Sky, and that is going to be the difference as Chicago gets the job done here. Back the Sky to run up the score, and they will cover the spread.
