On the other side of this matchup is the Seattle Storm, who sit with a 20-13 record overall, but they are coming off a loss on Sunday. The defense really struggled, giving up 89 points, and that led to the eight-point defeat. Two games ago, against the Minnesota Lynx, the Storm won 89-77. The Storm are averaging 80.7 points, while their defense is giving up 78.7 points per game. The offense is ranked 7th in the league, while their defense is ranked second in the league. This is a team that has leaned on the defense, and that will need to be strong in this game. The top offensive player for the Storm has been Breanna Stewart, and she is averaging 21.5 points while shooting 46.8 percent from the field. 

The Storm’s offense has gotten better as the season goes on, but there is too often that is still isn’t good enough, even when Seattle’s defense is good. In this game, I expect Seattle is going to struggle to score like they did the last time against Chicago and that will be the difference as the Sky get the job done. Back the Sky against the spread.
