Indiana Fever vs. Dallas Wings
June 23, 2022 8:00 pm EDT

The Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever face off on Thursday in a WNBA showdown at the College Park Center. When these two teams faced off on May 2nd it was the Wings that were able to secure the 100-89 victory.

The Wings come into this game with an 8-9 record overall, but they have won two of their last three games. In the last game against the Atlanta Dream, the offense scored 75 points, which wasn’t enough. The Wings are averaging 81.8 points, while their defense is giving up 81.6 points per game. The offense is ranked 5th in the league, while their pitching staff is ranked 7th. Arike Ogunbowale has been the top player for Dallas, averaging 18.9 points while shooting 39.3 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from behind the three-point line.

On the other side of this matchup is the Indiana Fever who sits with a 5-13 record overall, but they are coming off a big win in their last game. It was 35 points in the 3rd quarter that was the difference as the Fever won by a run. The Fever are averaging 80.3 points, while their defense is giving up 88.3 points per game. The top offensive player has been Kelsey Mitchell, who is averaging 18.8 points while shooting 43.4 percent from the field and 38.8 percent from behind the three-point line.

The Fever won the last game, but I expect this game to be a lot different. The Fever are giving up 88.3 points per game, and the Wings are going to have no issue running up the score here. I expect Dallas to score at least 88 points here, and this game is going to get out of control early. Back the Wings against the spread.
