Seattle Storm vs. Dallas Wings
June 10, 2022 8:00 pm EDT

The Dallas Wings and Seattle Storm face off on Friday in a WNBA showdown at the College Park Center. When these two teams faced off on June 3rd it was the Wings that secured the 68-51 victory.

The Wings come into this game with a 6-5 record overall, but they are coming off a game where they really struggled against the Las Vegas Aces. The defense gave up 84 points, and that led to the six-point defeat. The Wings are averaging 80 points, while their defense is giving up 79.4 points per game. The offense is ranked 5th in the league, while their pitching staff is ranked 6th in the WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale has been the top player for the Wings averaging 18.5 points while shooting 37.9 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from behind the three-point line.

On the other side of this matchup is the Storm who sit with a 6-5 record overall, but they have been one of the most disappointing teams in the league, even though they have a winning record. In the last game against the Atlanta Dream, the defense was good, giving up only 60 points and that led to the 12-point victory. Seattle is averaging 77.2 points, while their defense is giving up 75.4 points per game. The offense is ranked 10th best in the league, while their defense is ranked second. Breanna Stewart has been the top player for Seattle, averaging 20.2 points while shooting 43.1 percent from the field.

The last time these two teams faced off, it was a lower-scoring game, and it’s going to be no different in this game. The Storm wants to keep the pace slow, but their defense has been much improved as of late. There isn’t a strong play on the side, but this game is going to be lower scoring, and the under will cash.
