The Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky face off on Sunday in a WNBA showdown at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. When these two teams faced off on May 24th it was the Sky that secured the 95-90 victory.

It has been another down year for the Indiana Fever, and they sit with a 4-13 record overall, and they are coming off another loss in the last game. The offense scored 80 points against the Phoenix Mercury, but the defense was awful, giving up 93 points, and they lost by 13 points. The Fever are averaging 79.8 points, while their defense is giving up 88.4 points per game. The offense is ranked 7th in the league, while their defense is ranked 12th. Kelsey Mitchell has been the top player for the Fever, averaging 19.2 points while shooting 43.7 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from behind the three-point line.

On the other side of this matchup is the Chicago Sky, who sits with a 10-4 record overall, and they have won three games in a row. In the last game against the Atlanta Dream, it took overtime, but the offense scored 106 points and that led to the victory. Three of the last four games have been decided by four points or fewer. The Sky are averaging 84 points, while their defense is giving up 79.4 points per game. The Sky’s offense is ranked 3rd in the league, while their defense is ranked 5th. Kahleah Copper has been the top player for Chicago, averaging 13.7 points while shooting 43.5 percent from the field and 34.4 percent from behind the three-point line.

The Sky’s offense looked good in the last game, even taking overtime, and I expect they are going to have no issue running up the score again in this game. I don’t trust Indiana’s defense, and in the last game they gave up 93 points. The Sky are going to get close to 100 points again, and Chicago will secure the victory.
