The Seattle Storm and Las Vegas Aces meet Sunday in game two of the WNBA Finals at the IMG Academy.

The Seattle Storm look for another victory to take a quick 2-0 series lead. The Seattle Storm are averaging 90.5 points on 48 percent shooting and allowing 79 points on 39 percent shooting. Breanna Stewart is averaging 26.5 points and 9.8 rebounds while Jewell Loyd is averaging 20 points and 4.8 rebounds. Sue Bird is dishing 9.5 assists and Alysha Clark is grabbing 6.8 rebounds. The Seattle Storm are shooting 36.1 percent from beyond the arc and 89.8 percent from the free throw line. The Seattle Storm are allowing 43.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 36 rebounds per game.

The Las Vegas Aces need a victory here to even up the series at 1-1. The Las Vegas Aces are averaging 73.8 points on 39.8 percent shooting and allowing 78.3 points on 43.5 percent shooting. A’ja Wilson is averaging 21.3 points and 9.7 rebounds while Angel McCoughtry is averaging 16.7 points and 5.2 rebounds. Danielle Robinson is the third double-digit scorer and Kayla McBride is grabbing 3.5 rebounds. The Las Vegas Aces are shooting 28.2 percent from beyond the arc and 83.6 percent from the free throw line. The Las Vegas Aces are allowing 30.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35.7 rebounds per game.

The Storm are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 WNBA Championship games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Sunday games. The Aces are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Sunday games and 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The over is 4-1 in Storm last 5 overall. The under is 4-1 in Aces last 5 overall. The under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings.

The Seattle Storm are the better team here and continue to play at a ridiculous level offensively to the point the line continues to jump from game to game. The Storm should be favored here and we’ve backed them a lot in the bubble. However, this is pretty much a must win if the Las Vegas Aces are going to win this series, and their defensive pressure did give the Storm issues in the second half of game one. The Aces trimmed a near 20-point deficit to one point in less than a quarter before Stewart and Bird came back in and built the lead up again. Bottom line, the Aces defense gives them a shot in this series and I’m not eager to lay more than five or six points in these games.

I’ll take the Aces and seven points.
