The Seattle Storm and Las Vegas Aces meet Tuesday in game three of the WNBA Finals at the IMG Academy.
The Seattle Storm can win their fourth WNBA title in franchise history with a victory here. The Seattle Storm are averaging 93.2 points on 49.9 percent shooting and allowing 81.4 points on 41.7 percent shooting. Breanna Stewart is averaging 25.6 points and 8.6 rebounds while Jewell Loyd is averaging 17.6 points and 4.4 rebounds. Alysha Clark is the third double-digit scorer and Natasha Howard is grabbing 4.8 rebounds. The Seattle Storm are shooting 38.1 percent from beyond the arc and 87.8 percent from the free throw line. The Seattle Storm are allowing 43 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 34 rebounds per game.
The Las Vegas Aces need a victory here to save their season and force a game four on Thursday. The Las Vegas Aces are averaging 76.3 points on 41.6 percent shooting and allowing 82 points on 45.5 percent shooting. A’ja Wilson is averaging 21.1 points and 9.3 rebounds while Angel McCoughtry is averaging 16.7 points and 5.6 rebounds. Danielle Robinson is dishing four assists and Kayla McBride is grabbing three rebounds. The Las Vegas Aces are shooting 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 84.3 percent from the free throw line. The Las Vegas Aces are allowing 30.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35.4 rebounds per game.
The Aces are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs. Western Conference and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Storm are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The under is 4-1 in Aces last 5 overall. The over is 5-1 in Storm last 6 overall. The Aces are 6-17 ATS in the last 23 meetings in Seattle. The under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings.
The Seattle Storm continue to play at a ridiculous level offensively in these playoffs and are making it harder and harder to bet against them. Even when Las Vegas is able to string stops and get the game close, it doesn’t take long for the Storm to hit a few outside shots and open the game up again. We’ve seen it twice in this series where the Aces tie the game up and when you blink, they’re down double digits again. The Aces will continue to play hard with their season on the line, but the Storm are just too good. I’ll eat the chalk, as the Storm win their fourth WNBA title.
See you guys next season!
