I know the Mercury have a bunch of injuries, but they continue to play winning basketball, so this line is rather shocking. The Storm are experienced and are supposed to be good, but they’ve been underwhelming up to this point. The Storm have a league investigation going on which is distracting, and Li Yueru has requested a trade. All of a sudden the Storm have off the court issues, and it can’t be beneficial to winning. The Storm also aren’t nearly as good on the road as they are at home, dating back to last season. I’ll gladly grab the points with the Mercury.
