The New York Liberty and Chicago Sky face off on Saturday in a WNBA showdown at the Barclays Center. When these two teams faced off on June 12th it was Sky that were able to secure the 88-86 victory.

The Sky headed into Friday night’s game against the Dallas Wings with a 20-6 record, and they have won five games in a row. On Wednesday, the Sky faced off with the Seattle Storm, and that was enough to secure the 78-74 victory. The Sky are averaging 85.7 points, while their defense is giving up 79.3 points per game. The offense is ranked second in the league, while their defense is ranked 4th in the league. Kahleah Copper has been the top player for the Sky, averaging 14.5 points while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from behind the three-point line.

On the other side of this matchup is the Liberty who sit with a 9-17 record overall and in the last game against the Washington Mystics they struggled, scoring only 69 points. Two games ago against the Connecticut Sun, the defense struggled, giving up 82 points and that led to the 19-point defeat. The Liberty are averaging 78.8 points, while their defense is giving up 84.3 points per game. The offense is ranked 10th best in the league, while their defense is ranked 8th best in the league. Sabrina Ionescu has been the top player for the Liberty, averaging 17.2 points while shooting 41.7 percent from the field.

The Sky might be on tired legs in this game, but they are still going to find success here. The Sky are averaging 85.7 points, and they are going to have no issue getting the job done here. Look for the Sky to get over their season average and this game is going to be a blowout. Back the Sky against the spread.
