The New York Liberty and Indiana Fever face off on Wednesday in a WNBA showdown at Barclays Center. When these two teams faced off on May 13th it was the Fever that secured the 92-86 victory.

The defense gave up 92 points and the offense only scored 61 points, as they were blown out by the Seattle Storm. All the talk about the last game was how bad the defense looked, but if they want a chance to turn around their season, they are going to need to find a way to get the offense going. On the other side of this matchup is the Indiana Fever who will actually be playing in back-to-back nights, something that is a bit rare in the WNBA, especially early in the season. These are two teams that have struggled, and I really don’t trust either of these teams. The Fever will have tired legs though in this game, and that is a big concern for me. With tired legs, the offense for the Fever won’t be as strong, and that is going to be the difference as the Liberty gets the job done. Back New York against the spread.
