The Washington Mystics and Chicago Sky meet Tuesday in WNBA action at the Wintrust Arena. Here’s a Sky vs Mystics Prediction. This article will include a Sky vs Mystics Pick.

Washington Mystics Betting Preview

The Washington Mystics need a win after losing seven of their last nine games. The Mystics have lost four straight road games.

The Washington Mystics are averaging 77.5 points on 42.6 percent shooting and allowing 80.3 points on 40.2 percent shooting. Brittney Sykes is averaging 19.4 points and 4.4 rebounds, while Kiki Iriafen is averaging 13.8 points and 1.1 assists. Sonia Citron is the third double-digit scorer and Jade Melbourne is grabbing 2.5 rebounds. The Washington Mystics are shooting 31.9 percent from beyond the arc and 74.5 percent from the free throw line. The Washington Mystics allowing 30.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 36.7 rebounds per game.

Chicago Sky Betting Preview

The Chicago Sky could use a feel good win to rebound from a rough 3-7 start. The Sky have lost two of their first three home games.

The Chicago Sky are averaging 75.3 points on 40.5 percent shooting and allowing 89.3 points on 46 percent shooting. Ariel Atkins is averaging 12.9 points and 3.6 rebounds, while Kamilla Cardoso is averaging 10.9 points and 6.8 rebounds. Courtney Vandersloot is the third double-digit scorer and Angel Reese is grabbing 11.9 rebounds. The Chicago Sky are shooting 30 percent from beyond the arc and 71.8 percent from the free throw line. The Chicago Sky are allowing 38.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 40.9 rebounds per game.

Sky vs Mystics Injury Report

The Sky will be without Moriah Jefferson due to a leg injury. Courtney Vandersloot is out due to a torn ACL.

The Mystics will be without Georgia Amoore due to an ACL injury.

Sky vs Mystics Prediction

This line makes absolutely no sense to me. Yes, the Sky isn’t a good team and the loss of Vandersloot doesn’t help. However, the Mystics have done nothing to be this big of a favorite on the road. The Mystics have lost four of their five road games, and they’ve lost seven of their last nine games overall. The Sky just got a nice win over the Sun, where Reese had a triple-double. That sort of performance can do wonders for the confidence and could have a carry-over effect. Reese went from crying in a press conference to having one of the best games for any player this season. I’ll grab the points with the Sky.
