Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans go for a third straight win tonight when they take on the Phoenix Suns.
With three wins in their last four games, the Pelicans have been on a bit of a run lately and it's been Anthony Davis at the forefront of their success, stamping his authority as one of the rising stars of the league. In Friday's 96-85 win against the Lakers, Davis stuffed the stat sheet with a career-high 32 points with 12 rebounds, three assists and six blocks while Jrue Holiday complimented him with 13 points and 13 assists for his first double double of the season.

Meanwhile, the Suns were able to improve to 4-2 on the season thanks to a big night from Markieff Morris who scored 14 of his career-high 28 points in the fourth quarter where the Suns came back from an 11-point deficit after blowing an 18-point lead. Miles Plumlee added 18 points and 11 rebounds and Eric Bledsoe tacked on 17 points and nine assists to lift the Suns to 3-0 at home so far. On a side note, Goran Dragic sat out the game but has resumed practice and is expected to suit up for tonight's game against the Pelicans.
In ATS trends, the Pelicans are 3-11 ATS in their last 14 road games and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games following a double digit win, while the Suns are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four home games and 5-0-1 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Phoenix while the over is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings.
The Suns and the Pelicans have already met once this season and it was the Suns who won by 104-98 behind 25 points from Eric Bledsoe and a combined 33 points from the Morris twins off the bench. The inclusion of Dragic will strengthen the Suns' backcourt and I think that will be the difference again in this meeting. I'm taking the Suns to stay unbeaten at home.
