Tommy Paul will meet JJ Wolf in the Quarter-Finals of the 2023 Eastbourne International. The match will be played on Thursday June 29th, 2023. 

Tommy Paul is the second seed here at the 2023 Eastbourne International and is ranked 17th in the world. The American is not known for his abilities on grass but has looked good this week, comfortably defeating Sebastian Baez 6-1, 7-6. However, his next opponent JJ Wolf has a lot more firepower than the Argentine, so Paul will have to be at his best here. He is a power hitter, and likes to be in control of baseline rallies. Paul will have to take the initiative here, as Wolf will be seeking to do the same thing. 

JJ Wolf is unseeded here at the 2023 Eastbourne International and is ranked 46th on the ATP Tour. The American has been solid but not spectacular in his two wins over Tomas Etcheverry and Luca van Assche, hitting numerous winners but also committing numerous errors at the same time. Like his opponent Tommy Paul, he likes to take the ball early and dominate with his groundstrokes but this will be difficult to do with Paul also on the attack. He is the underdog here but knows that on the right day he can cause the upset. 

This should be an entertaining match between two power hitters. Both Tommy Paul and JJ Wolf like to take the ball early and dictate play, so it will really come down to who is better on the day. While Wolf has been solid this season, I have to give the edge to Paul due to his experience. He is a top 20 player, and he did make a run to the Fourth Round at Wimbledon last year. He has a bit more versatility to his game as well, so I see him winning here, moving on to the Semi-Finals at the 2023 Eastbourne International.
