Boston Celtics vs LA Clippers Player Prop Picks 11-25-24

The matchup between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Boston Celtics on November 25, 2024, will feature two teams playing very well but struggling with key injuries. The Clippers will be without Kawhi Leonard (knee), Norman Powell (hamstring), and PJ Tucker (personal reasons), while the Celtics are missing Kristaps Porzingis (foot injury) and have Al Horford listed as questionable.

Despite these absences, Boston still boasts a powerful lineup, led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. For the Clippers, James Harden and Ivica Zubac will be expected to step up as the team navigates through its challenges. This game is pivotal for both teams, with Boston looking to maintain their strong position in the East, while the Clippers are trying to find their rhythm in the West.

James Harden Over 22.5 Points

James Harden’s scoring performance during the 2024-25 NBA season with the Los Angeles Clippers has been a mix of steady contributions and moments of inefficiency. He is averaging 20.4 points per game while playing 34.9 minutes per game. Harden’s shooting splits show he’s hitting 36.5% from the field, 31.1% from three-point range, and an excellent 87.7% from the free-throw line, with a true shooting percentage of 53.4%. Notable performances include a 22-point game on November 22 against the Sacramento Kings, where he went a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line, and a 24-point outing on November 20 against Orlando, which included shooting 50% from beyond the arc.

James Harden has struggled to get over this number of 22.5 over his last 10 games but I like him to big scoring night on Monday. With Norman Powell out of the lineup, I just don’t see where the points are going to come from the Clippers. In a game that I expect the Clippers to be down in we should see Harden step up and play aggressively on the offensive side of the ball.

Ivica Zubac Over 11.5 Rebounds

Ivica Zubac has been a key rebounder for the LA Clippers during the 2024-25 NBA season, averaging 12.5 rebounds per game over 17 games. His contributions include a balanced approach, with approximately 4.2 offensive rebounds and 8.3 defensive rebounds per contest. Zubac’s rebounding places him among the league’s top performers in this category, tied with Karl-Anthony Towns for third in total rebounds per game, trailing only Nikola Jokić and Domantas Sabonis.

We’ve seen him have some monstrous rebounding games as of late. In his last 3 games, he had 17 against the Warriors, 12 against the Magic, and 16 against the Kings. With Al Horford not being 100% for this game Zubac has a favorable matchup and should continue to clean up on the glass.

Jrue Holiday Under 11.5 Points

Jrue Holiday has been an offensive contributor for the Boston Celtics so far this season, averaging 12.9 points per game across 15 appearances. He comes into this one with a 48.9% field goal percentage, including 38.7% from beyond the arc and an impressive 90.3% from the free-throw line.

He’s been an efficient scorer but he’s lacked consistency. We’ve seen him have multiple games where he didn’t reach double digits in points. He’ll be matched up with this Clippers team that has been playing very strong defense as of late. Also, this Celtics team has so many mouths to feed and I look at Holiday as more of a facilitator in this one.
