Talented Atlanta running back Bijan Robinson has certainly been a key contributor to the Falcons offense in 2024. Let’s review Robinson’s relevant player data to better shed light on my previous statement.
In the 13 games that Bijan Robinson has played for the Atlanta Falcons in the 2024 NFL regular season, Robinson has compiled 977 rushing yards, eight rushing touchdowns, 53 receptions, 401 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown.
More recently, in the New Orleans Saints 20-17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons five weeks ago, Falcons running back Bijan Robinson tallied 116 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, three receptions, and 28 receiving yards.
Looking closer at the data just presented, in the Saints win over the Falcons just mentioned, Bijan Robinson compiled a whopping 32.4 Draftkings points.
I definitely like Bijan Robinson from a general matchup perspective. The reason? The Las Vegas Raiders have had issues containing opposing running backs this season. Let me be more specific. Through 14 games played in the 2024 NFL regular season, the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked a rather low 22nd in total Draftkings points allowed a game (21.8) to the running back position. Keep in mind that the NFL has 32 teams in the entire league. Having stated that, being ranked 22nd in any defensive category is clearly not good.
In summary, I think running back Bijan Robinson is the most likely player to post the most Draftkings points in this NFL regular season game. For that specific reason, I am backing Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson at the captain position for this one game Draftkings NFL Showdown contest.

Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers has wasted little time showing the world that he belongs in the NFL.
In the 13 games that Brock Bowers has played for the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2024 NFL regular season, Las Vegas Raiders quarterbacks have targeted Bowers a whopping 118 times. In those 118 targets just noted, Bowers accumulated 87 receptions, 933 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns.
