This week, the PGA Tour travels to Texas for the 2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open. Let’s take a look at this week’s tournament from a Draftkings perspective.
Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for this week’s PGA Tour event, let’s take a quick look at the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a player’s success at this week’s Texas Children’s Houston Open.
Where will the Texas Children’s Houston Open be Played?
The 2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open will be played at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas. This golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 7,475 yards. This track features five par five holes, wide fairways, and rather large greens. Water is in play on only four holes.
*This will be the sixth consecutive year that the Texas Children’s Houston Open has been played at the Memorial Park Golf Course.
Stephan Jaeger won the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open with a four round cumulative score of 12 under par.

Texas Children’s Houston Open Draftkings Picks
Aaron Rai $9,800
The talented Englishman arrives at this week’s event on the heels of three consecutive top 14 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an 11th place result at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational earlier this month.
Aaron Rai certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Let me be more specific. Rai is currently ranked sixth in driving accuracy (70.05%), 21st in GIR (greens in regulation-70.51%), third in par four scoring average (3.92), 14th in birdie or better percentage (25.85%) and 23rd in strokes gained off the tee (0.446).
Rai has played outstanding at Memorial Park previously. Since 2021, Aaron Rai has played the Texas Children’s Houston Open three times. In those three tournaments just noted, Rai has accumulated three top 19 finishes, including a seventh-place result at the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open.
Stephan Jaeger $8,800
Stephan Jaeger has amassed two top 20 finishes in his last four tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including an impressive sixth-place result at the 2025 Mexico Open at Vidanta last month.
Due to Stepan Jaeger’s quality finish at the 2025 Mexico Open at Vidanta I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the event to determine how Jaeger fared relative to the field.
Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2025 Mexico Open at Vidanta, in relation to the field, Stephan Jaeger ranked 11th in driving distance (319.9), third in overall putting average (1.551), third in total birdies made (25) and 16th in bogey avoidance (7).
Additionally, Stephan Jaeger won the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open.
Davis Riley $7,600
Davis Riley has compiled two top seven finishes in his last three tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including an impressive seventh-place result at last week’s 2025 Valspar Championship.
Riley has played well at this week’s PGA Tour event in the past. Davis Riley finished 14th at the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open.
In my view, Davis Riley’s low Draftkings price of only $7,600 presents the best fantasy value of any golfer on this week’s Draftkings PGA Tour slate.
Additional golfers I like to perform well at this week’s PGA Tour event (Draftkings price noted): Scottie Scheffler $12,700: Rory McIlroy $11,700: Michael Kim $8,700: Joe Highsmith $7,800: Matthias Schmid $7,000: Jeremy Paul $7,000.
