Wings vs Storm Prediction
The Storm should be favored as they’re the more experienced team with greater expectations. The problem is the Storm were awful in their season opener, losing to the Mercury 81-59 as a six-point favorite. It’s one game, but I’m not convinced another road game is going to help turn things around. The Wings showed flashes against the Lynx, and a somewhat competitive game against a top-three team in this league is a positive.
I’d also expect a better effort from Paige Bueckers now that she has a game under her belt. If the Storm played the way they did in their first effort, this is a game the Wings could win. We’re still feeling these teams out. I’ll grab the bucket with the Wings.
