Draftkings Procore Championship First Round Picks 9/11/25

This Thursday morning, Draftkings golf fans will be presented with the first round of the 2025 Procore Championship. Let’s take a look at the first round of this tournament from a DFS perspective.

Before I discuss my Draftkings player selections for this week’s event let’s review where the first round of the 2025 Tour Championship will be played.

The 2025 Procore Championship will be played at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, California. This golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,123 yards.

*Patton Kizzire won the 2024 Procore Championship with a cumulative four round score of 21 under par.

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest! Keep that in mind as you construct your lineups for this DFS slate.

Here are my DraftKings picks for the first round of the 2025 Procore Championship.

Draftkings First Round Picks

Akshay Bhatia $8,900

The talented American has accumulated four top 26 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a sixth-place result at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship five weeks ago. Bhatia also finished ninth at the 2020 Procore Championship.

J.J. Spaun $9,200

The 2025 U.S. Open winner has compiled four consecutive top 25 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a second place result at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship last month. Spaun finished ninth at the 2020 Procore Championship.

J.J. Spaun also looks good from a statistical standpoint. Let me be more specific. Spaun is currently ranked tenth in total strokes gained (1.053), ninth in strokes gained tee to green (0.957), tenth in strokes gained off the tee (1.053), ninth in strokes gained approach (0.956), seventh in par five scoring average (4.58) and seventh in overall scoring average (69.88) on the PGA Tour.

Jackson Koivun $8,600

Jackson Koivun arrives at this week’s PGA Tour event on the heels of three consecutive top 11 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at the 2025 Wyndham Championship last month.

Matt Kuchar $7,700

Matt Kuchar has tallied two top 25 finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at the 2025 John Deere Classic two months ago.

Kuchar certainly checks the box for me when it comes to previous event results. Since 2014, Matt Kuchar has played this week’s PGA Tour event six times. In those six tournaments just noted, Kuchar has compiled four top 21 finishes, including a seventh place result at the 2023 Procore Championship.

David Lipsky $7,300

David Lipsky has amassed three top 28 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a third-place result at the 2025 3M Open in July.

I also like the fact that Lipsky has performed at a high-level the Silverado Resort previously. Lipsky finished second at the 2025 Procore Championship.
