Draftkings Best Arnold Palmer Invitational Final Round Picks

This Sunday, the PGA Tour presents Draftkings golf fans with the final round of the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Before I discuss my fantasy golf/DraftKings player selections, let’s take a look at where the final round of this event will be played.

The final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational will be played at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Florida. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,466 yards.

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my final round DraftKings player selections for the final round of the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Draftkings Player Picks

Scottie Scheffler $12,000

Since the beginning of January, Scottie Scheffler has played five events on the PGA Tour. In those five tournaments just noted, Scheffler accumulated four top ten finishes, including a third-place result at the 2024 Waste Management Open four weeks ago.

In relation to this week’s 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Scottie Scheffler ranks first in strokes gained approach, first in strokes gained tee to green, first in GIR (greens in regulation), and third in birdie or better percentage.

Upon the completion of today’s third round of play at the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational, Scheffler is tied for first place with a score of nine under par.

Shane Lowry $8,600

Last week, Shane Lowry fired a third round 66 at the 2024 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches en route to an eventual fourth place finish.

Due to Lowry’s quality finish at the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches, I decided to take a close look at the relevant player statistics to see how Lowry fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2024 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches, relative to the field, Shane Lowry ranked second in strokes gained approach, eighth in birdie or better percentage, and seventh in strokes gained on par fours.

Russell Henley $8,300

Russell Henley has accumulated two top 24 finishes in his last four tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a fourth-place result at the 2024 Sony Open in January.

Harris English $7,900

Harris English arrives at this week’s event on the heels of two consecutive top 17 finishes, including a seventh-place result at the 2024 Genesis Invitational last month.

Harris English also checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Since 2018, English has played the Arnold Palmer Invitational five times. In those five tournaments just noted, English accumulated four top 22 finishes, including a second-place result in 2023.
