The Baylor Bears and the Oklahoma State Cowboys meet Saturday in college basketball action from Gallagher-Iba Arena. 

Baylor rolls into this one at 13-0 on the season. The Bears have beaten TCU, Texas Tech and Kansas in their last three outings. As for Oklahoma State, they’re 9-3 this year. Baylor has had a couple of moderately close finishes this season, but no one has topped the Bears yet. So far, it’s been wins over Louisiana, Washington, Illinois, Stephen F. Austin, Kansas State, AR-Pine Bluff, Central AR, Alcorn State, Iowa State, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas Tech and Kansas. 

In Monday’s 77-69 win over the Jayhawks, Baylor’s Jared Butler led the team on 30 points with eight assists and one rebound. MaCio Teague added 13 points with one rebound and one assist, and Davion Mitchell put up 10 points with three assists in 31 minutes. 

Over on the Oklahoma State side, they began their year with six straight wins culminating in a victory over Wichita State on December 12. The Cowboys went 1-3 in their next four with losses to Texas, Texas Tech and West Virginia, but have won their last two versus Kansas State and Kansas. 

In the 75-70 win over Kansas on Tuesday, Oklahoma State’s Cade Cunningham put up 18 points with seven rebounds and three assists, and Bryce Williams added 17 points with two assists and one rebound. Avery Anderson chipped in 14 points with three boards and three assists as well. 

Oklahoma State is 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games. The Cowboys are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and the over is 5-1 in their last six overall. 

Meanwhile, the Bears are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five Saturday games. Baylor is 42-20-1 ATS in their last 63 road games and the under is 4-1 in their last five road games.

PICK: I’m going to take a shot on Oklahoma State here. The Cowboys have played pretty well in big games against ranked opponents lately, beating Texas Tech and Kansas while also coming within three of Texas and three of West Virginia. Baylor has been a juggernaut all season long but their last two victories have come by relatively slim eight-point margins. I like the Cowboys to keep pace well enough to bag a cover. Should be a great game.
