The Lehigh Mountain Hawks and the Holy Cross Crusaders meet in college basketball action from the Hart Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Lehigh Mountain Hawks will look to rebound from a 77-61 loss to Bucknell last time out. Marques Wilson leads the Mountain Hawks in scoring with 18.2 PPG while Nic Lynch has 16.5 PPG with a team-high 6.8 RPG to make up the duo of double-digit scorers for Lehigh coming into Saturday’s matchup with Holy Cross. Jeameril Wilson also has a team-high 2.5 APG for the Mountain Hawks this season. As a team, Lehigh is averaging 68.3 PPG on 47% shooting from the field, 30.9% from 3-point range and 64.1% from the foul line while allowing 77.5 PPG on 46.2% shooting from the field and 39.4% from 3-point range this season.

The Holy Cross Crusaders will look for their first home win of the season following a 96-87 road loss to Colgate last time out. Gerrale Gates leads the Crusaders in scoring with 16 PPG along with 7.3 RPG while Austin Butler is 2nd in scoring and tops in rebounding with 15 PPG and 9.5 RPG and Matt Faw has 14.2 PPG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Holy Cross this season. R.J. Johnson also has a team-high 4.5 APG up to this point in the year for the Crusaders as well. As a team, Holy Cross is averaging 70.7 PPG on 45.7% shooting from the field, 35.3% from 3-point range and 60.4% from the foul line while allowing 80.7 PPG on 46.3% shooting from the field and 37.4% from 3-point land this season.

Lehigh is 7-20 ATS in their last 27 games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games while the under is 7-1 in their last 8 games following a loss. Holy Cross is 8-21 ATS in their last 29 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 games following a loss. The underdog is 8-0 ATS in the last 8 meetings between these two teams.

I wonder if I’m missing something here because I can’t find a reason as to why I’d want to lay points on the road even a bucket, with a Lehigh team that’s 0-6 ATS so far this season, it’s just not making sense. The Mountain Hawks are 0-3 SU/ATS on the road and while Holy Cross is 0-2 SU at home, they’re 4-2 ATS on the year. I’m not going to overthink it, I’ll take Holy Cross and the bucket but this line looks funky so I’d probably stay away.
