The Colorado State Rams and the Nevada Wolf Pack meet in college basketball action from Lawlor Event Center on Friday night.

The Colorado State Rams will look to build on their 87-73 win over New Mexico last time out. David Roddy leads the Rams in scoring and rebounding with 16.1 PPG and 9.6 RPG while Isaiah Stevens has 14.8 PPG with a team-high 5.9 APG and 4.8 RPG as well on the year. Kendle Moore has 10.6 PPG and Adam Thistlewood has 10.3 PPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for Colorado State up to this point in the season. As a team, Colorado State is averaging 75.6 PPG on 48.5% shooting from the field and 37.1% from three while allowing 64.9 PPG on 41% shooting from the floor and 29.3% from three this season.

The Nevada Wolf Pack will look to bounce back from an 87-66 loss to Utah State in their last outing. Grant Sherfield leads the Wolf Pack in scoring and assists with 18 PPG and 6.2 APG while Desmond Cambridge Jr. has 15.5 PPG with 4.3 RPG as well to make up the duo of double-digit scorers for Nevada up to this point in the season. Warren Washington has 9.3 PPG and 5.5 RPG and Zane Meeks has 9 PPG with a team-high 5.9 RPG to lead the Wolf Pack on the glass as well on the year. As a team, Nevada is averaging 72.7 PPG on 44.8% shooting from the field and 35.1% from three while allowing 68.3 PPG on 40.3% shooting from the field and 32.8% from three this season.

Colorado State is 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 Friday games and 7-20-3 ATS in their last 30 road games following three or more consecutive home games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall. Nevada is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 gams overall while the over is 10-2 in their last 12 games against a team with a winning record. The favorite is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings between these two teams.

I’ve been burned by Nevada more times than I care to admit this season, but sometimes you just have to go with where the value is and while Colorado State’s been good on the road, the Wolf Pack have been their best at home this season. I just think that only laying a point here with a solid home team like Nevada something I’m interested in, so I’ll lay the point with Nevada in this spot.
