The William & Mary Tribe and the Northeastern Huskies meet in a CAA conference tournament quarter-final matchup from the Atlantic Union Bank Center on Sunday.

The William & Mary Tribe punched their ticket to the quarters with a win over UNC-Wilmington last time out. Luke Loewe and Connor Kochera each had 17 points with Loewe logging 4 rebounds and a pair of steals while Kochera had 4 boards and a pair of steals. Quinn Blair added 14 points with 9 rebounds and a pair of threes to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for the Tribe up to this point in the season while Mehkel Harvey had 4 points and a team-high 10 rebounds in the victory.

The Northeastern Huskies come into this game as the #2 seed after finishing the year with an 8-2 conference record as part of their 9-8 overall mark this season. Tyson Walker leads the Huskies in scoring and assists with 18.5 PPG with 4.9 APG along with 2.2 steals while Jahmyl Telfort has 10.6 PPG and Shaquille Walters has 10.5 PPG with a team-high 6.6 RPG to lead the Huskies on the glass and to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Northeastern up to this point in the season. Jason Strong also has 9.8 PPG and 4.5 RPG for the Huskies this season.

William & Mary is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 Sunday games while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record. I get the Huskies being favored as the team with the 2nd best record in the conference, but realistically, the Huskies didn’t finish the regular season all that strong with losses in two of their last three conference games and they also haven’t taken the floor in three weeks. William & Mary had a game to shake the rust off, and I think that that will serve the Tribe well here as they keep this one close and potentially give themselves a shot late to pull off another upset.
