The Arkansas Razorback meet the Colgate Raiders Friday in the college basketball NCAA Tournament First Round at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The Colgate Raiders are riding a 13-game winning streak and just won the Northeastern Conference Tournament. The Colgate Raiders are averaging 85.7 points on 49.8 percent shooting and allowing 67.8 points on 40.1 percent shooting. Jordan Burns is averaging 17.1 points and 4.5 rebounds while Nelly Cummings is averaging 12.4 points and one assist. Jack Ferguson is the third double-digit scorer and Tucker Richardson is grabbing six rebounds. The Colgate Raiders are shooting 38.4 percent from beyond the arc and 75.2 percent from the free throw line. The Colgate Raiders are allowing 26.3 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 37.3 rebounds per game.

The Arkansas Razorbacks enter this tournament winning 12 of their last 14 games. The Arkansas Razorbacks are averaging 83.3 points on 45.6 percent shooting and allowing 70.7 points on 41.4 percent shooting. Moses Moody is averaging 17.4 points and 5.9 rebounds while JD Notae is averaging 13.3 points and 2.1 assists. Justin Smith is the third double-digit scorer and Jalen Tate is grabbing 3.8 rebounds. The Arkansas Razorbacks are shooting 34.4 percent from beyond the arc and 74.5 percent from the free throw line. The Arkansas Razorbacks are allowing 32.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 36.8 rebounds per game.

The Raiders are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Razorbacks are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The over is 5-2 in Raiders last 7 overall. The over is 34-16-1 in Razorbacks last 51 overall.

The Colgate Raiders are an elite offensive team that’s second in points per game and 11th in field goal percentage. However, it’s fair to question how good Colgate really is when its played just 15 games and didn’t play a single team worth mentioning. The Arkansas Razorbacks are a physical, battle tested team from the SEC that can win at both ends of the floor and wins by an average of 16.3 points in the favorite role. I need to see Colgate play a decent team before I believe the numbers. Give me Arkansas and the chalk.
